Interest in the history and naming of Ranishimul Union
Mahabir Ishakhan, one of the leaders of the Bhuiyans, was born in 1538 AD in 1536 AD in the family of Solaiman Khan under the name of Raja Kalidas Gajdani Singh in Bibaria District Sarail Upazila. The first wife Syeda Fatema Khatun and the second wife's name is Swarnamoyi. Mahabari's Isha Khan's second wife, a witness to the sinking of that moon merchant's dinghy in the golden age of history, came to visit the enchanted historical Kalidah Sagar and lost her way and headed for the dark mountains. At that time the queen's boat fleet anchored under a shimul tree by the river in this region. At that time, the people of the area gathered to take a look at Rani Swarnamoyi. From then on, the present village of Ranishimul was renamed to commemorate the arrival of Rani Swarnamoyi. Later, when this region was transformed into a union, the union was named Ranishimul in memory of Rani Swarnamoyi.
During the tenure of Hon'ble Chairman Syed Mezbah Uddin Bakhtiyar in the period 1990-1995, this union was transformed into a pilot union.
